cute way to use up scraps
I used a pattern but ended up not reading all the instructions and creating my own new pattern. You really can't mess it up.
You Will Need

Step 1
Chain 141.

Step 2
row 1: single chain in second chain from hook and in the next 29 ch.
chain 4 *skip 1 ch, dc in next ch, ch 1* repeat from * 39 times. chain 4 repeat from * until the end. -
Step 3
row 2: chain 3. turn the work upside down and repeat row 1 but sc in the chain above the first sc below.

Step 4
Fasten off. You'll now have a small loop at one end. Thread the sc end into the loop and tie at the desired size.
