They sit on your head or lay gently on your bangs.
Larger bows are for the back of your head and shorter ones are for the side of your head.

  • Step 1

Cut the nylon into sections. This is easy because the nylon is already in an even rectangular shape.

Make one piece slightly or notably shorter for the main piece and the second piece longer for the trail.
(The length the second piece determines whether it will be better for the back of your head or the side of your head.)

  • Step 2

Center piece 1 onto piece 2. Using your piece of lace or a left over piece of the nylon, tie a knot behind piece 2 so that it can not be seen from the front.

  • Step 3

Tighten the knot so that the wrapping piece hangs down like the ties of a bow.

Slide a snapping clip, bobby pin or thin/medium-thick headband through the back knot for hold in your hair.
(Or maybe a ribbon for a wrist cuff.)

Did you get that stripped fabric from wal-mart? Because the green and black looks exactly like a green and black stripped fabric that I got from there that I used to make this awesome tank top... that my best friend stole from me. lol
