A simple card for any occasion
Okay, so it's been FOREVER since I've uploaded a project, but I've been making tons of things, so maybe I'll get around to uploading them. Anyway, I was at a loss for a birthday card for my boyfriend. The romantic birthday cards are just too mushy, and the non-romantic ones just aren't serious enough, so I figured, heck, I'll make one (again)! You see, I only ever make cards, for him or anyone, usually I just don't do cards. ANYWAY, now that I'm off that little tangent, here's what I came up with.

  • Step 1

Take two different colored pieces of construction paper and cut them into the size card you want.

  • Step 2

Then cut a design out of your top piece (I did a heart).

  • Step 3

Then glue the two pieces of paper together and glue the design you cut out back onto it, but not completely centered. I made mine down and to the right a bit.

  • Step 4

Then I outlined my hearts because you couldn't see the heart very well.

    Step 5

Write what you want on the inside and wa-la! You've got yourself a cute little card!
