Instead of using a hair clip, I used a safty pin because I wear it on my neko hat.

Step 1
Cut a square out of the material of your choosing.

Flip it over to the wrong side. Then fold 2 sides of the square inward so that they meet in the center of the square.

Sew the ends closed. You should have a rectangle by now.

Sew the middle, but leave an opening so you can flip it. Then turn it right side out. It should look like a little pocket.

Step 5
Cut a thin piece of ribbon for the middle of the bow. If it starts to fray, use a lighter to burn it away.

Step 6
Wrap the ribbon around the middle of the bow. Use the glue gun to seal it for a clean finish.

Step 7Once it's dry, glue it to your hair clip!
