Tiny Strawberry Cream Liquor Filled Chocolate Shot Cups
These tiny chocolate shot cups are filled with strawberry cream liquor and topped with a twist of rich butter cream. BTW my mom complained that these were too rich for her. She suggested substituting whipped cream for the butter cream and I think that would also be great and a bit lighter.

Step 1First, melt your pink candy melts according to the instructions on the packet. DO NOT melt the whole bag unless you are planning on making a ton of these. About 1/4 cup will make 6-8 shot glasses.

Step 2Fill your mini shot glass candy mold. I normally brush in one layer of chocolate and put it in the freezer for a few minutes. Then I bruch in anouther layer to make a sturdy, but hollow cup. They don't need to be perfect because you are not going to see the insides. Once you get the cups set up, pop them out the the mold.

Step 3Fill your cups about 1/2 full with the filling of your choice. I like strawberry cream liquor for this little Valentine's Day treat. Chocolate or coffee cream would be good as well. If you want to make a virgin variety, try pureed fruit.

Step 4Next, I pipe on a big swirl of butter cream frosting.

Step 5Finally, I placed a little conversation heart on each cup. I usually put them back into the freezer to let them get nice and cold and to set up.
