Step 1For this project you will need a t-shirt and a shirt.

Step 2Cut around the collar and button strip, leaving about an inch around the edge.

Step 3Throw the rest of the shirt away or put in your scrap bucket.

Step 4Pin the shirt collar and buttons to the t-shirt, pinning the lower part of the collar to the inside neckline of the t-shirt and pin the button strip down the front of the t-shirt.

Step 5Unbutton the button strip and cut the t-shirt down the middle.

Step 6Unstitch each side of the button strip and then take the edge of the t-shirt, fold it under and then stitch it on top of the button strip.

Step 7Sew up each side of the button strip and around the collar until the shirt is firmly sewn to the tee.

Step 8Trim off all the excess shirt and tee and it's ready to wear.
