Super easy and cute t-shirt recon
I made the design of this shirt in chemistry class as a lab and didn't like the actual shirt itself. So, I did a recon of it. Hope you like!

  • Step 1

CUT THE NECK. Try your shirt on and see how long you want the neck to be. I wanted mine right below my bra band. Make sure to leave seam allowance!

  • Step 2

ATTACH THE BAND. Taking a ribbed band from another shirt, attach it to the neck. You may have to stretch the band a little to make it fit. You don't have to have a ribbed band and can just use some other stretch fabric, but it thought it looked better.

  • Step 3

SHIRR THE WAIST. I started right below where the neck comes to a point and did five rows. for tutorials on how to shirr, here are some great ones.

  • Step 4

FIX SLEEVES. If you want, you can adjust the sleeves or the hem line, but i didn't need to.
