That is so crazy, I once had a clear CD and got some sharpies and did the exact same thing!

Great minds think alike eh? :)

I've done it before and it actually overheated the cd player in my car, but it was super hot anyways and i had almost completely covered the thing in sharpie! I did it a million times before and nothing happened. It's probably ok f you don't go crazy on it. hahaha
