I made this dress after deciding to look at The Beatles for my textiles coursework. It was inspired by the military style of the Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band outfits and their bright psychedelic colours. I made the pattern myself, using heat transfer dyes and printing them onto plain white fabric (which took an insane amount of time, maybe five hours or so hehe). Once all the fabric was printed and put together, I decorated the dress with ribbons and buttons and shoulder pads with the fringing and bright buttons stitched on. Oh and I added a cute Sgt. Peppers logo on the back of the dress :)
