• 

  Step 1

  get some old jeans of yours

• 

  Step 2

  cut the inseams appart

• 

  Step 3

  fold it flat

• 

  Step 4

  cut the points off in a straigt line, my picture doesnt show a straight line in the back of the pants cuz i fixed it later

• 

  Step 5

  turn it inside out and pin togeter

• 

  Step 6

  sew a double seam on the sides you pinned

• 

  Step 7

  leave it inside out and fold it flat the right way, zipper in the middle.

• 

  Step 8

  cut the corners at a slant, about 15*. dont cut the arm holes too deep or the sleeves will bow out and the dress will look bad. the neck should be about 5" deep.

• 

  Step 9

  now if you're small chested, you could just stop here. but you're prolly gonna be hidiously squished up top, like me, so continue :-p

• 

  Step 10

  make a mark just under the bust in the middle of the bodice and take it off and cut down the middle to that mark.

• 

  Step 11

  turn it inside out and sew a double seam to secure the end of the cut so it wont tear.

• 

  Step 12

  cut the front of the button down shirt off so it will fit when the bodice is folded back. (i used my duck tape maniquin)

• 

  Step 13

  put it under evenly and pinn it down so you can still fold the things back a little bit.

• 

  Step 14

  to hem it, keep it right side out and, starting in the back middle seam, fold the fabric just a little and pin it in place and sew all the way around. same for the arm holes. when you get to the bodice, jsut sew to each pin, like connect the dots.

• 

  Step 15

  and meet up the seam in the back and backstitch it to secure it.

• 

  Step 16

  this is how the straps should look inside out.

• 

  Step 17

  and when you get to the corners of the front, fold it the other way because here the inside will be the outside.

• 

  Step 18

  cut the sleeve off a the buttondown shirt the size to be a filler skirt for behind the zipper

• 

  Step 19

  pin it inside and sew it in place

• 

  Step 20

  fold the extra together and sew it so it wont be annoying when you wear it.

• 

  Step 21

  tada!
