  Step 1

  Lay your T-shirt on a flat surface with the back side facing upward. Start by drawing guide lines forming two Vs accross the back of your T-shirt as shown in the photo beside.

  Step 2

  Now draw horizontal lines spaced every 2 or 3 cm on the whole back of the T-shirt except for the sleeves and inside the V formed by the guide lines traced previously. Cut along those lines and stretch out the fabric to roll edges.

  Step 3

  Weave the lateral cuts from top to bottom using the basic weaving technique described on the “Essentials” section at the beginning of this book. In order to hold the weave, you can either tie the last loop and the previous loop together with a thread or a piece a T-rope or sew them together for a neater look.

Love em,I was doing these in the 80s & 90s.I wish I had have said yes to all the people who wanted me to do these for them just in my town,I coulda made a good amount of extra cash.A small dab of E-600 at the end of the cut will keep them from unraveling,just a dab from the inside.
