Since the game board is made up of these different hexes (see the 2nd photo), I thought that as a snack for our next game I would make a catan pizza!
I used english muffins as the hex and then did:
Wheat = yellow peppers
Forest = broccoli
Sheep = cauliflower with green pepper as grass
Ore = mushrooms
Clay = pepperoni
Desert = plain cheese
Houses/roads = raw carrot

I haven't played that game in years! It is a great game, and a great idea for pizza. =]
