saw something like this at a store in cape cod, & was inspired
when i was down the cape, i saw some cool sea glass candle holders in a store window. when i saw that they were $40 each, i nearly had a heart attack! i thought "i could make that." it was so easy!

i had sea glass and sand already from living at the beach. i made a pair of holders, using 2 large and 2 smaller votive holders that were $0.59 each.

the smaller votive holder fits in the slightly larger one. then i put some sand in the empty space between the 2 votive holders. then the rest of the space was filled with different colors of sea glass.

if you don't already have sand & sea glass (& you don't live near the beach) you can buy it at a craft or dollar store for very cheap.

Oh my! I have been collecting sea glass for a few years and I never thought of doing something like this. Great idea!
