Slightly damaged jewelry box, cleaned, painted, new knobs.
My daughter needed something special to use for putting little things away out of reach of her sister. Found this jewelry box on a display shelf at a discount store. It was a little beat up, but not horrible so. Got them to give me a discount. Took it home, sanded the rough edges a bit, painted it pink because my daughter loves pink. Added a few hearts and such in metallic pink, purple, and silver. Made new knobs out of polymer clay to match the paint job. Toothpicks were just about the right size to fit the old peg holes. Glued them on with wood glue. Made a silver rim on the lid and bottom using metallic powder.
