As part of my Games People Played series I've created Scrabble Tile Push Pins and Gameboard Bulletin Boards from discarded games. Most gameboards are made of a pressed cardboard and are ideal to use as a bulletin board - so get out there and experiment! Don't have a Scrabble board? Scout out your neighborhood thrift store.

Description

As part of my Games People Played series I've created Scrabble Tile Push Pins and Gameboard Bulletin Boards from discarded games. Most gameboards are made of a pressed cardboard and are ideal to use as a bulletin board - so get out there and experiment! Don't have a Scrabble board? Scout out your neighborhood thrift store.

Instructions

  1. Small drilltwo

    Drilling holes into the corners of the board will make it easier to nail to the wall. Drill holes slightly smaller than the nails you will use:

  2. Small epoxytacks

    With a piece of sandpaper, scuff up the back of each tile and epoxy metal thumbtacks to the back:

  3. Small finishedtile

    This is what they should look like when you're done, be sure the tack is "embedded" into the epoxy:

  4. Small scrabbullbrd

    When the epoxy has cured (overnight) nail your board to the wall and tack away:
