This is a super fun sewing project that is also very functional for those cold weather months.
A great solution for coats that have no hoods or if you don't like getting hat hair :)

Set aside the hood pieces.
Cut two rectangle pieces of the fleece and the fabric. Should be long enough to be a scarf, but use your own judgement for how long you want it to be.
Pin together a piece of fleece and fabric right sides together leaving the end of the rectangle open. Pull the fabric right side out when done.

Put the hood pieces you sewed together so that the fabric piece is out the outside of the fleece piece. (See picture for example.)
Once the hood pieces are together pin and sew along the front seam. At this point you also should pin the two scarf pieces to each bottom side on what would be the right side of the hood when you turn it inside out.

Thanks! The fabric is something I bought that I was afraid to use for some reason (its too nice, what if I mess up!) but then I just went for it.

Aww I get that way with fabric all the time and then I feel silly because the prettiest fabric just sits in my stash doing nothing, when it should really be the stuff out there doing all the living.

Oh I do the same thing! I hate that I have some fab fabric just sitting there for years due to fear of not using it for something perfect.
But I like this little scoody. I'll have to make one! So cute and useful.

Seriously, we should all agree to just use the good fabric that we have :) Life is for the living, as Cat says. I'm so glad you all like it, if you make one share the pictures :)
