I made these for my boyfriend's birthday because he loves Scooby-Doo. If you're using self rising flour don't bother with the salt and baking soda. If you're not sure if your flour is self rising go ahead and put the salt and baking soda in, it shouldn't hurt anything.

Description

I made these for my boyfriend's birthday because he loves Scooby-Doo. If you're using self rising flour don't bother with the salt and baking soda. If you're not sure if your flour is self rising go ahead and put the salt and baking soda in, it shouldn't hurt anything.

Instructions

  1. Start to mix your ingredients: Begin by combining the butter and sugar. Keep mixing until it looks light and fluffy.

  2. Add the eggs and vanilla: Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract, make sure they're mixed in really well.

  3. Add dry ingredients: Mix in the flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon a little at a time. Keep mixing until you have a nice dough.

  4. Chill the dough: Let the dough chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

  5. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven at 350 degrees for at least 30 minutes before you put your cookies in. You can preheat it while you cut out cookies with your cookie cutters.

  6. Cut out cookies: Roll out the dough to how thick you want it then use your cookie cutters (I found one shaped like a dog bone at Michael's).

  7. Bake your cookies: Bake the cookies at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden brown.

  8. The Tin: I bought a plain white tin at Michael's and decorated it with sharpies and stickers. Tada! Scooby Snacks!
