Wall storage for scrapbook scissors
I was tired of digging through my scissor basket when working on a project. I wanted a way to see all my scissors and the pattern mark. I didn’t want to buy some expensive storage thing at a store, plus I love the look of DIY repurposed items, so I got creative with what I had in the garage.

I used an antique yard stick, some screws, wood scraps, and wood glue.

I cut 2 thin lengths off of a scrap piece of plywood to add support and raise it away from the wall.

I glued it to the back of the yard stick and waited for it to dry.

I drilled pilot holes for the screws.

Then added the screws.

Ta Da! Nifty neat scissor storage and as a +PLUS it frees up space in the drawers of my craft desk.
