Like carbonara, but with sausages!
My speciality - sausage carbonara! It's absolutely lovely and moreish :D

  • Step 1

    Heat a large frying pan with some olive oil. While this is heating up, chop up the sausages into squares and roll them into balls.

  • Step 2

    Put in the sausages until they go golder brown all over. Then put in the bacon and leave for a few minutes until that is golden too.

  • Step 3

    While they are cooking, bring a pan of salted water to the boil and add the spaghetti.

  • Step 4

    Mix the egg yolks, parmesan, salt and pepper and double cream in a bowl and whisk

  • Step 5

    When the spaghetti is cooked, put it into a colander to drain off, but keep a tiny bit of the cooking water in a jug.

  • Step 6

    Put the spaghetti back in the pan, add the sausage meatballs. Make sure the sauce is smooth before mixing in that too.
    If it becomes too thick and sticky, add a bit of the cooking water.

  • Step 7

    Serve! :)

Hi, it should feed about 3 to 4 people. (It feeds me, my mum and dad but my dad eats enough for 2 hah Happy)
