Now, paint! If you want to cover large areas of the boots, like I did with the toes, heels and tops, I recommend using an old cloth or rag to wipe the paint on in thin layers. For painting detail work, use a small brush.

Allow your boots to dry fully before wearing and showing them off proudly! ;)

*To clean, use a damp cloth or non-abrasive cleaner.

I used Jacquard Lumiere fabric paints - whatever paint you use, I highly recommend paint made especially for leather/fabric.

Think of all of the ways you can customize your own boots - try a stencil, draw your own beautiful pictures, cover the whole boot in paint and make yourself a completely new pair of boots!! Be creative and have fun! :)
