Cut fabric to desired size of bag plus 1/4 inch extra on both long sides and 1 inch extra on short ends.

Sew a 1/4 inch hem on each of the short ends.

Sew a 3/4 inch hem keeping your stitches close to the top of the hem on each short side. This will create a casing for your drawstring.

Fold in half so short ends meet, right sides together. Sew 1/4 inch seams on sides beginning at just under your casing.

Clip corners and trim seams as needed

Turn right side out and run ribbon through casing for drawstring closure.

Turn inside out.
