It's what happens when you don't have a rectangle pan...
It was first time making them. My oldest was off from school thanks to T.S. Isaac, so I decided to make rice krispie treats. About half-way through the process, I realized that I do not have the required rectangle pan to put the krispie mix in. LOL So I got creative. :)

  • How to bake a rice krispie treat. Round Rice Krispie Treats - Step 1
    Step 1

Buy some Rice Krispies, crisp rice, or whatever brand of similar cereal. The national brand ALWAYS has the recipe on the box or look it up online. Also, get marshmallows and butter. :)
Follow the recipe. I melted the marshmallows on low/medium-low heat so that it doesn't burn.

    Step 2

Mix the melted marshmallows and cereal together. (This is where I realized that I didn't have the rectangle pan! LOL) Butter a cupcake tin or any pan/mold that is shaped(hearts would be cute for Valentine's, pumpkins for Halloween or pine trees for Christmas). Pour mix into the molds. Make sure to butter your spatula or hands! The mix is VERY sticky!

Let them cool and pop them out! Decorate them if you like. If I had chocolate chips, I would have melted them and dipped them. LOL The best part about it, they cool down quicker than in the pan. :) ENJOY! :D

No problem ely d.! It was my first time ever making them this way. The treats cooled down so much quicker than having to wait 15-20 mins in a rectangular cake pan.
