yes i used page protectors for the pockets as well. i would like to remake this and use a magnet and improve it. i dont have any air bubbles. thank you for commenting :]]

I was just looking at the tut for this. I like your idea of putting the pocket on the inside, very cute! I like that you did a collage too, that's adorable! Did you use a page protector for the whole thing or did you use the packing tape? I made another project from a tut on this site that was similar to what you've done, without the pocket on the inside, & it was a magnet closure. It was a gift for a friend. anyways, that one called for using a page protector & it wasn't that hard to use. I don't have a sewing machine so I just hot glued it. I do really like the look of the page protector over the tape, but I wondered if you got air bubbles under yours? Cuz I did when I used one.
