Color to the pond in yard!

As usual, we had our own kind of fun with mom this weekend. :)

Thought that we hadn't painted any stones for ages so brought with me 3 paint brushes and 2 books. She had been thinking just the same thing!

And after a little time we headed out to search for base for new fish to my parents pond in their backyard!

To prepare the stones, they need to be washed properly ofcourse. If needed or you want, the books adviced to use wome wood paste to smoothen the surface, we've just never used that. It might be easier to paint with smoother surface, but I like it rough and natural. :)

Depending on what you're going to paint you need to paint the stone with the wanted background color. I myself used black so the stone would sink in the background of the pond. You can also leave it natural.

Then just paint desired shape when the base is dry.

Let the rocks dry well before putting them in to water!

Mom painted the ones with lizard. Love the lizard! :)
