Don't stand by the road while wearing this XD
 <  Image 1 of 2  >

Here is a gift I made for my friends 18th birthday. I'm quite happy about how it turned out.

Firstly I found an old white t-shirt in my close.
I tried it on and found out that I should shorten the sleeves and do something about the neckline.
So I did, I cut of nearly half of the sleeves and the elastic neckline, then I sow a hem on those places.

Secondly I printed out a stencil I found on the net and cut it out.
Then I placed the stencil (and held it down by using masking tape)on the t-shirt.
Now I painted with black fabric paint and dried it with a hairdryer. Then I added a second layer of paint and dried that too.

The last things I did was to remove the stencil again.
Then I used a tiny paintbrush to cover up some mistakes, and to write my initials in the back of the t-shirt.
then I dried the whole thing with the hairdryer.

The next day I ironed the t-shirt inside-out and wrapped it up (to give it to my friend the following day).
