Ring Of Flowers Necklace

  • Completed Project: Ring Of Flowers Necklace Picture #1

Pretty and unusual necklace made from bits found about the house.

Sorry forgot to take any pictures till the end. I didn't really set out to make anything when I started, it kind of evolved through fiddling :)

  1. Step 1

Cover black, metal curtain ring in double sided sticky tape.

  2. Step 2

Rap ring in thin, black ribbon. Secure end with a couple of stitches. Use black thread so it doesn't show.

  3. Step 3

Sew on 4 flower beads at regular intervals using black thread.

  4. Step 4

Attach it to a length of black, leather thong. You can use as much as you like depending on whether you want a long pendant or a choker. Make a small noose in the end of one end of the thong and then thread the other end through. Make this into a noose too. This means you can adjust the length of the necklace to fit over your head.

I think even men would like a version of this, maybe not with flowers but something else, its so hard to make for them!
