Très chic!
I love these ribbon shoelaces.

Usually I just tuck the laces down the sides but I've been told whenever I tie a bow it gives me a retro and girly look.

I think it's awesome they're see through. :)

  • How to make a shoe lace. Ribbon Shoelaces - Step 2
    Step 2

Twist the ends of the ribbon a bit and string a piece of quetip like you would a bead.

Optional: twisting it first you could try to melt the ends a bit so it's easier to string the quetip pieces through. Do this with a lighter

With a glue gun apply a bit of glue on the end of the ribbon and pull the quetip piece back

  • How to make a shoe lace. Ribbon Shoelaces - Step 4
    Step 4

Smooth down the ribbon, glue and quetip by melting it all together using a lighter.

Repeat for the other side and second shoelace.

Thanx so much!! I googled lace shoelaces and this post came up. Didn't even think to check here. American Apparel sells some for $8 but they didn't have hot pink and the lengths were too short. Now I can make my own. The possibilities are endless. Yay!

This is cute, though looks a little hard to do... I'd love to give it a try...
