Make a pretty ring any size you want!
I have big fingers (like size 9 or bigger) and I can never buy store bought rings of any kind. I had shrink plastic leftover from a previous project and used it (pre-shrunk) as the back bone. You could experiment with different kinds of plastic. This is cheap and can be made to fit any finger!

You Will Need

Step 1Measure your finger buy using a thin strip of paper. Make sure you leave a little room for overlap and leave it a little loose because the ribbon lining will take up some room. I cut off what I thought was right, and then kept tweaking the measurement using the paper strip.

Step 2Cut a strip of plastic that is as long as your paper measurement and as wide as (or maybe a tiny bit more narrow) the ribbon.

Step 3Create a ring out of plastic leaving about a 1/4" overlap. I used duct tape and taped along the inside, the outside, and then around the meeting point.

Step 4Cut two pieces of ribbon the length of the ring. Using the glue gun, line the inside of the ring. I recommend gluing as you go. Line the outside of the ring with the other piece of ribbon.

Step 5Make a simple bow and glue onto ring. Or glue something else like a stone. Whatever makes you and the ring happy :-)
