  Step 1

  Start by picking out your ribbons. One should be a thick ribbon of at least 2''wide. the other should be at least 1'' wide.

  Take the 1'' wide ribbon and measure the size of your head. Take that measurement and cut 1'' to 2'' shorter than that.

  Cut 1- 1 /2'' piece of elastic (I usually just use my whatever small piece of elastic I have laying around that I snipped off from previous projects. Sew that on to the edge of your ribbon using a zig-zag stitch.

  Step 2

  Next take your larger ribbon and a needle and thread. Sewing along the edge of the ribbon a straight stitch. It doesn't have to be perfect.

  Step 3

  Pull your thread tight so that your ribbon begins to bunch and curl.

  Step 4

  Using your glue gun, hot glue the little ribbon curly-q to your ribbon headband. Be sure to do this on the side.
