Reversible Scarf
I had a plain black fringed scarf, but it was a bit dull, so I decided to brighten it up with some Alexander Henry abric, left over from a previous project.
The patterned material was made in two sections, with a join in the centre of the scarf, in such a way that the pattern was running down from centre to each fringed end... that way, the pattern was going the same direction when the scarf was worn, as if you place the patterned material in one long strip, the skulls would be upside down at one end...
The patterned material was placed on top of scarf as shown, and topstitched all round.
