Based on Reversible Bag by verypurpleperson
Ok, so the first one I made was just a test version. (The pictures are backwards-the rainbow purse is the fist one I made.) I'm still a novice sewer so it came out a little wonky and small, but I think it's going to work great for picking fruits and veggies out of my in-laws garden this year! And the rainbow pattern with the cherries is so cute and is actually an old pillowcase! (I had to use ribbons around the handles to cover up my poor stitching ability! For those of you going to attempt this...make sure you leave lots of room at the end of the handles before stitching up...it will make your life a lot easier!)

The 2nd attempt worked out much better. I just free handed the pattern for this one. I loved the orange/white/black pattern I chose and the black side has almost a fake snake skin look to it (it kinda smudged the white fabric as I flipped it inside out but you can't really tell unless you're up close)

Thank you so much for the tutorial and links...I can't wait to make more for my friends. I feel so confident about making purses now...I can't wait to embellish with pockets and darts and everything else!!!!
