Backbag alteration
I'm not really a 'backbag' kinda girl. However, lately I've been needing something comfortable to carry my stuff in. I had an old, cheap and plain backbag that I decided to alter a bit to make it more 'my style'.

I removed the small label at the front pocket, then used fabric paint and some paper doilies to make the pattern. Some trimming on the edge of the zippers and a lace bow to add a little touch of girlishness.

Now I might actually use the backbag more :)

(the time doesn't include the trying time of the paint)

Thanks! I just dabbed it with a piece of sponge I had lying around while holding down the doily with my hand. That's why the outcome is kinda messy looking but I like the effect and I am way too impatient to have placed the doilies down more neatly Happy I also just smudged some of the colour to fill in caps between the pattern(s).

Hey! Looks fab! I was wondering if you used spray fabric paint or dabbed it on with a brush?
