I found this mirror(originally clear plastic)left at Reading Festival and was going to throw it away until I realised I could Steampunk it!

Carefully paint your mirror with gold plastic paint. Do several coats.
Cut out printed pictures of old pressure gauges and stick them to the bottom of the mirror with PVA glue.

When the glue is dry paint over the pictures CAREFULLY (to avoid leaching all the colour out of them) with watered down PVA. Then when that is dry coat them with non- watered down PVA glue.
Display proudly in your room/ boudoir/ airship bunk.
