Take a cardboard tube, of box, if you want it square to hang it on the wall (I used an empty oatmeal container), punch holes on regular distances the size of the little lights, Decorate the tube, I found it easier to punch the holes first and then re-punch them, but you can do it the other way around. Push the little lamps through the holes, if you have colored lights you can keep the same colors in a row or in any other order. Tada a new lamp. I know the pictures don't show the effect, but it really looks nice.
