Re Vamp Golden Oldies..

Literally Get Carried Away

I have a hard to find shoe size so when I find a pair a like I buy in bulk. When the pairs I love fall apart I try my hardest to find a way to re use them and enjoy them all over again. I bought these shoes a few years ago and only wear them when I'm going out or dancing. When I wanted to wear them for girls night their fabric rosebud had ran away. So quick thinking I thought a new cover up would do the trick and go with my black and white dress. So Thank you Carrie Bradshaw for making flowers fab!

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

First Step get all items you will need together.

    Shoes
Super Glue- Future Glue "Gel" is what I used here seems to work best.
Silk flowers- I chose white just because they will go with a lot of outfits I have. Any color would be nice.
    scissors.....

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Second step,

Just pull the flower off of the stem and your going to want to trim the plastic as close as you can, but still having a little piece to have the glue hold on to.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Thrid Step,

Once you have the nubbin cut off your going to want to put glue all around it and in the middle it might slide into the flower base but just as more as it is clear and it won't show.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Forth Step...

I like to have the glue set just a minute or two, so that it gets a good contact with the fabric from the shoe. I place my thumb on the side of the flower and my index on the other side of the shoe and squeeze and hold for 3-7 minutes it just depends on the glue setting.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

Perfecto! Now its the shoes time to shine! For best results let sit in a dry cool place. Enjoy the newly fab shoes!!!

Those are totally Carrie. Her style is WAY to "high fashion" for me, I never hold fashion over comfort, but these are still SO cute, and seem comfortable enough [how comfy can you get with heels?]:D

I think they are very comfy but I've been wearing heels since I could steal them away from my aunts. :D
