make a colorfull new candle
I got bored with the candles in the glass,so I made these.I have too many candles...

    Step 1

    Chop the candles to pieces.

    Get a plastic bottle and cut it in half.Make it bigger than you will need.

    I used a simple cheap white candle,that I melted and sticked to the bottom of the bottle.But if you have fuse at home,you get the same results.

    Boil some water,and put a smaller pot in the other one.

    melt the candle pieces.

    pour it in the plastic bottle.

    keep doing the same until your out of candle.

    Now just wait until its dry and carefully cut the plastic bottle off.
    And your done!

your so crafty. i used to make candles out of old croyons and wax. they went fast though as i went through a candle burning phase.

great way of recycling candles! also i heard that if put a candle in the...i think it was the freezer...or maybe it was the fridge, but put in there for a couple of hours and it won't drip so much and burn cleanly...personally i kind of like the drippy look, but just a tip i thought i'd share Happy

oh, I like that idea better...using a taper candle. Its alot easier than my how-to using candle string.

I used a ticker plastic bottle,maybe thats why I didnt have that problem.Im glad you like it!

wooow like them, did me thinking of my hippy time.LOL I did this too, but not in plastic bottles, we uses sand, or tins, but i have a question, when i pur some hot in the plasic bottles they will smelling , how did you do that, or did you haven't that problem at all. Please tell me your secret. LOL
