What brand resin did you use? I've been thinking about it for a while, but haven't jumped in yet...

I use envirotex or easy cast. These are a one to one mixture you have to use a small measuring cup to be exact. These one-one mixtures are much easier and they don't stink :)) Wear gloves while using this stuff check out you tube he has a series of videos to watch very good

not sure what you mean by model?
I use empty ring pendants and fill with resin hope that helps.
