These cute decorations are easy to make and make a lovely addition to any Christmas tree.

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, ALWAYS BEGIN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WIRE.

Opposite ends of the wire are shown in different colours (red and blue) to make it easier to follow.

Instructions

  1. Step 1 1

    Reindeer Main Body

Cut 100cm of wire. Start at X (the front foot). End at the tip of the ear. Wind excess wire down the sides and trim.

  2. Step 2 2

    Antlers

Cut 20cm of wire. Begin at X. Attach the antlers to the reindeer as shown.

  3. Step 3 3

    Back Leg

Cut 20cm of wire. Begin at X. Attach to the main body at the back as shown by winding the excess wire up the sides.

  4. Step 4 4

    Tree Main Body

Cut 100cm of wire. Begin at X at the top of the loop. Work your way all the way down until the tree is complete. Wind the wires up the sides of the tree. Trim one side only.

  5. Step 5 5

    Trimmings

On the remaining wire end, alternating between ruby and white, pick up about 20 rocailles. 3 or 4 branches up from the bottom, on the opposite side to where you started the trimming, wrap around a wire section on the main body of the tree. Pick up another 12 rocailles. Again, wrap around a wire section on the start side another 3 or 4 branches up. Pick up another 5 rocailles. Wrap on the opposite side several times. Trim off any excess.

  6. Step 6 6

    Your finished decorations

Now you can decorate your tree!
