  • How to make a recycled bowl. Refreshing Thrift Store Home Decor - Step 1
    Step 1

First prep the surface of your thrift store find by sanding lightly. This is to help adhere the paint.

Once sanded, wipe the dust off of the surface and start painting the surface with paint. I would use acrylic in a bright colour.

Add 2-3 coats of acrylic paint to the surface. For this DIY, I would only paint the outside of the bowl. Allow to dry.
