• 

  Step 1

  I made these decorations for the shoes, 2 for 1 shoe.
  It is not so tricky, but a lot of work, well at least with my rope(I had to glue the ends of every piece).
  In hungary we call these kind of curling decoration "Sújtás"(translater wrote: soutache)

  Step 2

  First I made the decoration.
  For that I cut some rope up. I cut 8 pieces, because I needed 8.
  Each piece is about 7 cm long.

  Step 3

  Make these "8" shapes of them with glue-gun, or any other glue(I used a gun!)

  Step 4

  Now, make a knot at the end of your big rope.

• 

  Step 5

  You'll need 4 of these for 8 pices of "8"s.Without the knot measure about 9 cm and cut the rope.

• 

  Step 6

  Now you'll need the loop for the knots!
  Grab a knotty piece and make a loop around it with the long rope.
  Not too tight but not too loose either, just big enough to pop the knot in and out.

  Step 7

  Glue the loop end to the rope(like on the pic).
  Then measure 9 cm from the glueing, and cut.
  you need 4.

  Step 8

  Now you have the pieces, buuuut it's NOT the end(told you it's crazy!)

  Step 9

  Ok!
  Make a loop at the top of the knotty rope ,glue!
  Then glue the "8" on it aaand 1 half of it is done!!
  Do the same with the loopy ones.

  Step 10

  AAAAAAAAAAAAnd congrats!!
  There will be more work!!
  Yeah I can feel the hatred!!: D

  Step 11

  Here comes the Acrylic paint!!
  Paint them all, we leave no unpainted ones!!
  Now put them to dry!!

  Step 12

  Say Hi to my shoes!
  Now comes the less irritating part!

• 

  Step 13

  Stuff them, stuff them for a better world!

• 

  Step 14

  Now cover the parts you want to remain as it is!(It was really nerve wrecking!!)Try to cover perfectly...

  Step 15

  Now paint them!!
  It doesn't have to be perfect, there will be a 2nd coating.

• 

  Step 16

  let them dry, but somwhere where the paint won't get everywhere, it's really hard to remove it!!

• 

  Step 17

  While the shoes are drying mach the decorations, they must be dry by now(or at least they were for me).
  Gather your glue!(I used superglue, Loctite is my fav, it's waterproof too)

• 

  Step 18

  Now it's dry!
  Glue the decors on it.
  Put a 2nd coat on it if you want to!

• 

  Step 19

  Let them dry and it's done!

  Hope you like it, and make one despite all the small things!
