I made this cake by request of my sister's boyfriend's family. It is a red velvet cake, I've never made one before so I'm a little nervous on how it'll turn out. but we shall see soon

You will need

½ cup Shortening 1 ½ cup Sugar 2 Egg(s) 2 tbsp Cocoa 4 tbsp red Food Coloring 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 1 cup Buttermilk 2 ½ cup Flour 1 ½ tsp Baking Soda 1 tbsp Vinegar 2 cup Buttercream Icing
