Recycled Patch Work Quilt..
 <  Image 1 of 2  >

So I have never made a quilt before and thought why not give it try. The squares are are mix of my kids pj's & shirts. There is fabric from my first sewing projects back in high school, my favourite purple corduroy pants which ripped and other cord materials and shirts.

The reverse side is some left over fabric which the kids and I drew on using fabric markers.I sewed a square in each un patterned fabric square and it turned out really well!! And the wadding cost $1 from the Op shop.

oh and its about the size of a cot blanket only you cant tuck the sides in... it gets used in our lounge of an evening by the kids atm. And thank you...I highly recommend trying it... it's rewarding in itself.
