Secondhand dress remade to fit a princess.
I remade a dress I found in a second-hand store for my graduation.

Step 1Find a cheap dress with a potential.

Step 2Buy some fabrics and tulle that are (in some sense) opposite color.

Step 3Cut the dress into pieces and keep the useful ones.

Step 4Make a new top and attach it to sleeves. I sewed it by hand.

Step 5Make the skirt part a bit shorter from the top and crimp it to match the new (orange) top.

Step 6Put everything together, take a picture and think about it. Now this looks a bit oldfashioned, don't you think?

Step 7Make a lace from leftovers.

Step 8Cut the back side of the top.

Step 9Add some lace to the top like you mean it.

Step 10Crimp the tulle.

Step 11Attach the tulle to the skirt so that it shows just a bit.

Step 12Add a belt if needed...

Step 13... and some butterflies...

Step 14... and some velvet roses too.

Step 15Show off.
