  • Step 1

First, you need a cookie sheet, an old record, kitchen scissors, a nail or hole punch, 4 jump rings, and 2 earring hooks.

  • Step 2

Preheat the oven to 325. Place the record onto the cookie sheet and bake for approximately 10 minutes.

  • Step 3

Remove cookie sheet from oven. The record will be hot, so use an oven mit to hold it. Take your kitchen scissors and cut whatever shapes you want out of the record. It will harden fast, so you can bake it multiple times to get it pliable again.

  • Step 4

After you're done with getting your shapes, put them back in the oven for about 10 minutes (yes, again). This will get your shapes pliable so you can push the nail through the top of your shape to get a hole. You can also use a hole punch for the hole, too. Both are equally tough to get it through, but take your time, and it works.

  • Step 5

One you're done with that, let them cool and then you can work with them. Take your jump ring, put it through the hole. Take another jump ring and connect it to both the earring hook and the jump ring on the shape. Do this for both shapes.... then you have some pretty sweet earrings.
