Reconstructed Shirred Tee

  • Completed Project: Reconstructed Shirred Tee Picture #1

a sip of sweet tee

A simple, reconstructed tee I made. I cut the neckline so it was a scoop neck. Cut a small hole below the bust line. Then tied a strip from the t-shirt through the hole and over the top, and tied in a knot. That made so you could see a gaping hole under the knot (which kind of gave a keyhole look that some might like), so I then sewed the hole to the knot so it was hidden (sorry if that doesn't make sense).

The lace is not part of the t-shirt...it's a tank top I'm wearing underneath.
