My best friend's mom gave me this dress because it was too small for her. I really liked it to begin with, but I felt like I could do something more to it.

Once I had that off, I cut off the strings that held the dress up.

Then I drew a line creating a deep v-neck into the dress and cut along that, then pinned back the extra fabric.

Once I had that, I made the back of the dress into a straight line...

you should use the glittery wrap thing as a belt/cummerbund on your dress. It would look great.

Tas is right, if you cut the glitterly bit into shape it could make a nice belt, for either the dress or for some other peice of clothing. Very nice dress though
