I made this blanket for my 6 week old niece for Christmas. First I embroidered the Precious Moments design with my Deco onto a piece of cotton backed with flannel and stabilizer. Then I basted it onto the blanket front. Next, I satin stitched around the piece. Finally, I placed the wrong sides of the 2 flannel pieces together to form the blanket leaving an opening to turn it all right side out. And for the finishing touch, I used a pretty stitch to go all the way around the blanket to kind of hold it all in place.
