i must admit this wasnt my idea, i saw one of the how to's on co&k but i cant add it as a version cause i dunno who it was.
i did however use my own cupcake recipe so basically i just used the colour idea....

Add to a List Add to Favorites Add Your Version

1. make whatever cupcake mix you like to use
2. divide the mixture into 6 bowls:
bowl 1 - add half a cap of red food colouring
bowl 2 - add half a cap of red & half a cap of yellow(for orange)
bowl 3 - add half a cap of yellow
bowl 4 - add half a cap of green
bowl 5 - add half a cap of blue
bowl 6 - add half a cap of blue & half a cap of red(to make purple)
3. layer the colours in your cupcake tray(in paper/cone cups) as follows:
purle
blue
green
yellow
orange
red
4. put them in the oven and then ice or decorate however you want :)

uhm..i just used a butter icing type thing...its not very amazing..i need to learn how to make amazing icing =D any ideas anyone? =P

I LOVE THIS!!! i think the idea is sooo cool, but i was wondering... how do the colours not run into each other? Or do they just sit on top of each other because of the thickness? Ohh well :P i'll try anyway XD

Hey Scarlie :) they dont run into each other cause the mixture is too thick. add them when you make them! :)
