more rainbows....

theres so much you can do with tie dye!
do a bit of research on the internet before you start just for interests sake to see what else you can do.
i found one that shows you how to tie dye a peace sign! SO doing that next! :)

Crafts

Instructions

  1. Step 1 1

get a plain white vest/shirt/dress/piece of material, old or new

  2. Step 2 2

if youre only making one shirt, dont make the full amount of dye
i used an empty ice cream container for each colour

  3. Step 3 3

    part 1
roll it up,starting at the bottom right corner and ending at the left sleeve

    part 2
use string or elastic bands to tie rolled up shirt into as many patritions as you like,as far or near apart as you like
(i tied 7 partitions because i wanted to do a rainbow.the 1st being the smallest and each partition gradually got larger)

tip - you can tie the string tighter

  4. Step 4 4

dip your first partition in your 1st colour
    dont forget to wear gloves!

  5. Step 5 5

holding your other colours out of the way,dip in your next colour until the string on either side of the partition is touching the dye

  6. Step 6 6

continue in this way till all your partitions have been dyed

  7. 7

cut the strings and hang up your garment to dry on a coat hanger
