Rainbow pancakes with nutella, peanut butter, icing and sprinkles!
It was Tom's birthday on Tuesday and I couldn't resit waking him up with a rainbow pancake cake, complete with a candle to blow out.

Step 1Mix up your pancake batter by whisking together the flour, baking soda, vegetable oil, salt, egg, chocolate chips and soya milk.

Step 2Divide the batter between five glasses and add a few drops of each food colouring to each.

Step 3Fry each of the pancakes, one at a time, until cooked on either side. Stack the cooked pancakes on top of each other, spreading each with a layer of peanut butter or nutella.

Step 4Mix together icing sugar with a little bit of water until runny.

Step 5Drizzle the icing on top and add sprinkles. Serve with a birthday candle if it's a birthday!
